To break the connections between the Orbit IC and the CCD chip I lifted the orbit IC's legs. This requires alot of patience, the pins are minute and fragile. I first heated them, and lifted them with a scapel blade's tip.

This broke the connections and allowed me to solder 2 wires onto respective pins. The wires are from a old hard-drive cable. Sorry, I put the glue over them before taking the picture, make sure you cover them with the glue though, they are very fragile,.
